Two suspects arrested in fatal motel drive-by shooting - Mississippi News Now

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two suspects are in custody in connection with a drive-by shooting that took place Saturday afternoon near a motel parking lot.

JPD Officer Colendula Green said the names of the suspects have not yet been released.

Green said a preliminary investigation revealed the suspects followed 33-year-old Terrell Riley and 36-year-old Curtis Davis into the E.com motel parking lot.

The white vehicle with tinted windows then stopped and an occupant shot the two men from the vehicle, quickly leaving the scene.

Green said Riley died after sustaining three gunshot wounds to the stomach and three to the back.

Davis was shot four times and underwent surgery Saturday night. His condition is not known.
