One Mississippi: Tornado Relief Effort - Jackson Free Press



Sunday, On May 4, 2014 beginning at 3:00PM outside in the green space next to Hal & Mal’s 200 South Commerce Street, Jackson, Mississippi One Mississippi: Tornado Relief Effort will take place. The event seeks to raise money for Mississippians who suffered loss during the recent storms that struck various parts of the state on Monday, April 28, 2014.


With the generous help of local businesses and musicians, One Mississippi, will feature live music, food, beverages and a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds will be used in conjunction with the Red Cross for immediate relief efforts in the Mississippi communities ravaged by tornados.


Food will be available from Parlor Market, 1908 Provisions, Manship Woodfired Kitchen, Pig and Pint, and Hal & Mal’s. Beverages provided by Capital City Beverage, Cathead Vodka, Brown Bottling, and Coca-Cola Enterprises.


Music by Mark Roemer, The Special Cause, Cody Cox, TB Ledford, Lucky Hand Blues Band, The Jason Daniels Band, and Rooster Blues. Admission is free with donations strongly encouraged.
