SIMPSON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A woman has been killed and two others injured in a Wednesday evening accident on Highway 49 north of Magee.
A silver Toyota Camry was northbound when it ran into the median and struck a culvert. The driver, 52-year-old Timothy Jordan and his son, 24-year-old James Jordan, have been taken to UMMC.
Timothy Jordan's wife, 49-year-old Nancy Jordan, died at the Magee Hospital.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Trooper Eric Henry says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
