Some people think he's harmless, others aren't so sure. But when we posted pictures of him on our Facebook page, from a Fondren homeowner's security camera, they got a lot of attention.
As we first reported, someone has been sneaking around Stephanie Miller's home, and she caught him on her security video.
"I was a little scared," said Miller. "It was very creepy because this is a private driveway and we were asleep and somebody was in my home. But nothing violent."
The unidentified intruder was picked up on camera between 3:15 a.m. And 3:40 a.m. Tuesday morning. Miller remains uneasy. She says the same man was going through her garage and car and that this has been happening a lot lately.
"I have a job that gets me home around 3-5 a.m.," said Miller. "And so running into him was the scary part, so I have some things that I keep on me at all times; just little tasers. That was my big fear, but it's fine."
Miller posted the surveillance video on Facebook and people spoke out. Some identified the man as a homeless wanderer named Caveman.
"I've heard that he is a local who wanders the streets, homeless, harmless but opportunistic," said Miller. "I guess at this point I was glad to put it on Facebook and noticed he wasn't as scary as I initially thought."
A police report has been filed. If you have any information on the man in the attached pictures, call Jackson Police at 601-960-1234.
