JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Police say a 40-year-old Jackson woman has been arrested for allegedly setting another woman on fire in a dispute over a man.
Jackson Fire Department Chief Investigator Greg Travis tells The Clarion-Ledger (http://on.thec-l.com/1vgA3Iz ) Tomeika Sullivan was arrested Wednesday night after police received a tip on her whereabouts. Investigators believe Sullivan set Flecia Wilcher on fire earlier this week while she slept under a bridge.
Travis says both women are without permanent address, and investigators believe that there was some kind of ongoing feud over a man.
He says a man also sustained minor burns in the attack.
Travis said Wilcher suffered serious burns, and remains in the intensive care unit of a Jackson hospital.
Sullivan faces charges of aggravated assault and arson.
It was unclear whether she has an attorney.
