JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has canceled the Amber Alert issued early Friday.
They say the child, Isiah Summerall, is safe and was recovered in Panola County.
Right now, authorities have not released any other information about the child's recovery or any charges that could be filed.
Jackson police told us they believed he had been abducted by family members.
Authorities said the child's uncle and other family members broke down the door of the home at the Cypress Point Apartments in Jackson on Thursday night.
Police say they choked the child's mother and held her and her boyfriend at gunpoint while they took the toddler.
