An Amber Alert issued for 2-year-old Isiah Summerall of Jackson, has been canceled, state officials said.
The toddler was found safe in Panola County, but additional details were not immediately release.
A man, identified by police as the child's uncle, held the Isiah's mother and her boyfriend at gunpoint before taking the child from the Cypress Point Apartments on Hospital Drive.
Officer Colendula Green said the incident happened around midnight Thursday night. Officers are investigating the case as a burglary and kidnapping, she said.
Authorities said Isiah may have been with Ricky Dandridge Jr. It was not known if he has been taken into custody.
