PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a Pike County Community Work Center inmate who fled a work detail at the McComb City Barn.
The Mississippi Department of Corrections says in a news release that 19-year-old Dustin Larrison was captured about 7:10 p.m. Monday without incident in a motel parking lot in Pascagoula. Authorities say Larrison was in the Mississippi Department of Transportation truck he had escaped in earlier in the day.
Larrison is serving a seven-year sentence for three counts of burglary from Jackson County.
He was taken to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County.
Authorities say Larrison will be charged with escape.
