Hazelhurst, Ms - According to Chief Deputy Derrick Cubit, 2 people were shot in Hazelhurst around 9:41pm on April 18, 2015.
The incident happened in a housing complex on T.W. King Lane. Police suspect Henry Coleman, but he is not in custody at this time. Chief Deputy Cubit says Coleman has a history with the Hazelhurst PD and may have recently been released from prison.
Both victims suffered from non-life threatening injuries. They were taken from the scene by a private vehicle to Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital. One of the victims was later taken to a hospital in Jackson, MS.
