Conway also shot his dog inside the house. The condition of the dog was not released.

Police were trying to serve a warrant for two armed robberies. During the negotiation, he yelled out, “I don’t want to go back to jail,” investigators said.

The handgun Conway used to kill himself matched the description of the weapon used in one of the robberies, police said.
